Petr Gangur

Petr Gangur is an PhD student at the Department of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law of Charles University.

He has experience in cooperation in the project SVV No. 260 622 (Technological progress and social transformations as challenges for researching fundamental questions of law) and ERC-CZ, where he worked as a researcher in the field of empirical research of the concept of “constitutional identity” at the Czech Constitutional Court. He also worked in the team preparing the international project Visegrad Fund. During his Master’s studies he worked at the same department as a student research assistant, contributed to the organization of conferences and prepared expert analyses.

He also gained practical experience during his internship at the Ministry of Justice, where he worked at the Office of the Government Agent for the Representation of the Czech Republic before the ECHR and at the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. He is a member of several professional societies, such as the Czech Society for European and Comparative Law and ICON-S. He has actively participated in many conferences, including the prestigious international conference ICON-S 2024 in Madrid.
