Dr. Ewa Michałkiewicz-Kądziela is a legal scholar and constitutional law expert with a focus on constitutional law, EU law, international law, and human rights protection within national, EU, and international frameworks. Her research delves into identity rights and contemporary human rights challenges arising from social, economic, and technological transformations.
In 2019, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled The Right to Identity in Polish and International Law at the University of Szczecin, under the supervision of Prof. Andrzej Bałaban. Dr. Michałkiewicz-Kądziela has authored numerous publications, including the monograph The Right to Identity in Polish and International Law (C.H. Beck, 2020).
